Meet the artist

Hi I’m Leah. Art has always come from a deep love of animals. There’s something about the way they move, communicate, and simply exist that pulls me in every time. Whether it’s a wild dog caught mid-yawn or a city fox weaving its way through our world, I’m drawn to the moments that reveal personality, emotion, and quiet story.

I create artwork because I want people to feel something — a spark of connection, a moment of recognition, or even just a smile at a creature they might never have noticed before. I love capturing wildlife in ways that feel fresh, intimate, and sometimes a little cheeky. If my pieces make someone pause and look a little longer, then I’ve done what I set out to do.

My passion for animals doesn’t stay on the page. Over the years I’ve been involved in rescue, fostering, and rehoming, and it’s shaped the way I see the world. Every animal I meet reminds me why conservation matters so much. It’s also why I’m incredibly proud to be an Ambassador for Dogs4Wildlife — a charity whose work is making a real difference in protecting endangered species through their specialist anti-poaching dogs and dedicated handlers.

My hope is that through my artwork, my rescue work, and my role with Dogs4Wildlife, I can shine a light on the species and stories that deserve more attention — and help support the organisations fighting to protect them.

  • I was excited to ask Leah to draw my dog. I knew she was going to do a good job. I wasn’t disappointed!! Absolutely stunning. The detail, the colour spot on. The hardest thing to capture in a drawing is their spirit and sole but somehow, I don’t know how but she brought the drawing to life. I think it’s in the eyes!! Very very happy 😊 thank you again Leah!

  • Leah has completed a number of art pieces for me as gifts for friends and family. Her work has never let me down and always been a huge hit with the person I have given them too. She is incredibly talented and takes great pride in her work. She recently surprised me with a portrait of one of my dogs and it quite honestly took my breath away. It is amazing.
